Mark Casey, President & CEO
Mark Casey is the President and CEO of CFN Services. He has delivered results for clients in the global communications markets with companies including AT&T, Verizon, and CSX for more than 20 years. Since 2001, he has led CFN Services in developing high-performance, network and application-delivery solutions for real-time, mission-critical applications. Mark has also pioneered the design and optimization of solutions that accelerate market data delivery and trade execution for the most sophisticated financial market participants worldwide. Under his leadership, CFN Services developed and operates the ultra-low-latency Alpha Platform™, a global, high-performance private cloud for automated trading across key liquidity venues in the equities, options, futures, derivatives, and FX markets.
Prior to CFN Services, Mark was Vice President of Business Development and Channel Management at e.spire Communications (now tw telecom). In this position, Mark was responsible for identifying and developing the company’s top growth opportunities, while maximizing revenue production across the company's direct and indirect sales channels. Mark was also a key driver in the company’s revenue growth from $154 million in 1998 to more than $300 million in 2000.
Prior to e.spire, Mark held key management positions in several successful corporate ventures, first as a member of the launch team for Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions ¾ Bell Atlantic’s Internet subsidiary, which grew from ground zero to over $50 million in revenues in its first year. Mark also served as General Manager of CampusMCI, where he led the growth and development of the early stage MCI business unit, doubling revenues to $35 million and increasing profits four-fold over two years. Mark also established Campus MCI’s Internet brand as one of the ten largest national ISPs before its subsequent sale to Cable & Wireless.
Mark holds a BBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from American University.
Randall P. Muench, President of Wireless Division
In the position of President of CFN Services’ wireless division, Randall P. Muench directs and oversees the functional responsibilities of the division including professional services deployments, product development, marketing, delivery and customer care.
Most recently, Randall served as President of Cleartel Communications, a Florida-based telecommunications CLEC, which was sold to Birch Communications in 2009. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Xspedius Communications (formerly e.spire Communications) serving as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing overseeing for all sales, revenue, marketing, technical and customer service of the 400+ person revenue team. Randall’s experience also includes eight years serving as a director of marketing and finance for MCI’s $500-million state government segment.
Randall received a BA in marketing and business from The University of Illinois and an MBA in corporate finance from DePaul University.
Brad O'Brien, VP of Operations
Brad brings over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and a wealth of leadership and entrepreneurial expertise to the CFN management team. He has held VP-level positions in business development, sales, customer service and operations within organizations such as Vanco, Universal Access, Telco Communications and TeleGlobe. Brad's experience enables him to provide leadership and direction in managing employees and business processes through change and growth. Brad also brings years of experience and expertise in business strategy formulation, driving revenue, implementing customer support processes and strategies, redesigning key business processes and managing organizations through improvements with systems and around scalability.
Brad earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
Wil Tirado, VP of Network & Infrastructure Services
Wil is Vice President of Network and Infrastructure Services at CFN Services. In this position, Wil provides overall technical leadership for CFN developing custom, high-performance network and application solutions to sophisticated global financial market participants and network operators worldwide. At CFN, Wil has been responsible for the fast deployment of the CFN Global Low Latency Financial Exchange and continues to maintain an expanding "evergreen" network including CFN’s Alpha Platform. Wil has held positions of increasing responsibility in technology management, strategic planning, M&A, due diligence and implementation at Verizon, XO and FiberTower.
Wil holds a BS in electrical engineering degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA in finance from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
Sebastian Yoon, VP Financial Services
Sebastian Yoon is the Vice President of Financial Services at CFN Services where he oversees the company’s offerings within the financial industry including financial network services. In this position, he is responsible for product development, innovation, pricing and strategic business development.
Sebastian has over 11 years of experience in the communications industry in sales, marketing, finance and business development. Previously, he held positions at MCI and e.spire Communications (now Xspedius Communications) as a business analysis manager. Sebastian brings to CFN Services a deep knowledge and expertise on ultra-low-latency connectivity, proximity hosting, global data execution, financial ecosystems, low-latency market data, wire line and wireless telecommunications markets, networks, dark fiber, local access transport and backhaul optimization. He is a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council and American Marketing Association.
Sebastian received a BS in finance and marketing from Towson University and an MBA in GSIS international business from Yonsei University in South Korea.
Joesph Sikora, Senior Vice President, Sales
As Senior Vice President of Sales at CFN, Joe leads CFN’s global sales team to increase sales revenue and overall company profitability. Additionally, he directs the sales team to grow its global customer base, provide industry-leading, customer service and support and oversees relationships with all major customers.
With over twenty years of telecommunications experience, Joe’s diverse background includes leading sales and service and technical solutions groups for MCI Communications, Broadwing and Airband. As Executive Vice President of Sales at Airband, he grew sales from $11.8M to $20.3M in 18 months. While at MCI, Joe served as an Executive National Account Marketing Manager, where he led the company in two strategic markets successfully securing multi-million dollar contracts. In the position of Vice President of national accounts at Broadwing, Joe closed major contracts with industry leaders including Bank of America and Perot Systems and grew the company’s revenues from $36M to $300M in 48 months, which contributed to Broadwing’s acquisition by Level 3.
Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Ohio University and an MBA from Ashland University.
Meg Buchanan, VP of Finance
Meg Buchanan is a CPA that brings over 12 years of experience in accounting and finance with emerging growth companies to CFN. As VP of Finance at CFN, Meg oversees the accounting functions of the company. In this position, she works alongside the executive management team and is responsible for financial planning and budget management. Meg is also responsible for overseeing daily operations of the finance department, monitoring and analyzing CFN’s monthly operating results and managing financial outlooks and forecasts.
Prior to joining CFN, Meg served as Controller for Ice House America and contributed to growing the company’s revenue over 100 percent. Throughout her career, she has assisted Fortune 500 companies such as CSX, Discovery Communications, Fidelity National Financial, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida achieve success by helping them work through challenges within their accounting and finance departments. Meg's foundation of experience includes working as an auditor at a Big Four firm with organizations such as Freddie Mac, Sallie Mae and NASA.
Meg holds a BS in accounting from the University of Virginia.
